Choosing a Mosaic parquet floor means opting for a solution that is both authentic and durable, made from reclaimed wood lamellas. This original format, composed of flat-laid lamellas placed side by side and assembled using a thermoplastic mesh or adhesive tape, highlights the raw material and delivers a unique, robust and expressive appearance.
Glue-down installation is mandatory and requires genuine technical expertise. The subfloor must be flat, clean, dry, rigid and properly bonded. Once the parquet is glued in place, it must be sanded, then filled with a wood filler made from sawdust and a binding agent, followed by a second sanding and the application of the final finish. This technical process ensures a uniform and long-lasting result, while preserving the authenticity of the wood.
